Media Production
Harvest Moon Studio specializes in exhibit media production and interpretive planning. Our family-owned collaborative studio is located near the banks of the Los Angeles river, on the outskirts of Hollywood.
Our projects help clients interpret the complexity, nuance, and grandeur of the American experience. Several of the wide-ranging topics we have tackled include the grim devastation of the Civil War; the comeback of the California Condor; delicate ecosystems of the rugged Vasquez Rocks landscape; and epic labor struggles in Michigan’s Copper Country.
Founded in 1992 by film director Mark Lindquist and exhibit planner Heather Lindquist, Harvest Moon Studio has contributed to projects stretching from Andersonville, Georgia, to Grand Coulee, Washington. Our work is permanently installed at the Los Angeles Zoo, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Children’s Museum of the Upstate, Roseville Utility Exploration Center, and the Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield, Illinois. We count among our talented friends and collaborators Chris Bremer of Element113; Melanie and Daniel Hopkins of NieStudio; VFX artist Johnny Rice; Jen Bressler of Hunt Design; animator Ramiro Olmos; and exhibit designer Krister Olson.
