Journeys from Manzanar
The forced relocation to Manzanar (and the other 9 War Relocation Centers) was inherently unjust, unconstitutional, and unwarranted. And a complete picture of incarceration isn’t cropped or stopped in 1945–46 either.
Rather, it is told by the legacy of lives altered yet well lived.
Journeys from Manzanar is intended to function as a close cousin to Children of Manzanar in size, format, style, and tone. It presents the diverse and surprising paths of people who overcame the injustices of incarceration during their formative years, and built lives rich in meaning and beauty.

“NO BAN NO WALL” Vigil Held
The President is following through on his commitment to build a wall, while banning and deporting immigrants.
We respectfully disagree.
We ask everyone to join in solidarity with the #VigilantLOVE Coalition and SAJ-LA for a solidarity & resistance vigil against Islamophobia, state violence and xenophobia.
