“Staff members had to be forcibly separated from (your exhibit) after it was installed”

The Tooth Brush interactive is a HUGE hit. The kids even brush their own teeth! I can’t believe how diligent they are about turning the water off!
More than one year ago my son and I visited the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Illinois and saw the exhibit entitled “The Civil War in 4-1/2 Minutes.” I was captivated. I scoured the gift shop at the museum and thereafter scoured the web in search of a video, an mp4, mpeg, or even a screensaver, anything that might give me the opportunity to study and repeatedly examine the ebb and flow of the war. [I recently finished reading the book Team of Rivals and Shelby Foote’s three volume The Civil War.] Alas, to no avail.
We have had 6,500 visitors in the five weeks since we opened the doors. Everyone is very enthusiastic about the Center: the exhibits, the graphics, the sound tracks, the videos, the messages, everything about it. To give you an idea on how well received it is, we had more people attending our volunteer recruitment than we had spots for. Kids, teens, and adults are all interested in the messages and fascinated with how they are presented.
Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope. Is there some way that I could purchase “The Civil War in 4-1/2 Minutes.” on a DVD or in some other video format? It’s value in conceptualizing the simultaneous actions in Virginia, The West and other theaters is tremendous.
Burn it bike is fabulous. Kids (and adults) are thrilled (and horrified) by the facts! Just burning 20 calories takes a while, then, they see the donut statistics! They love the animation.
Kudos to you, the designers and architects who brought magic to the stories!

The kids love it. The adults love it. They are all a magnificent hit! We’ve had both parents and kids in tears in the museum both days! Thank you so much for all your work!

Whether or not this can be arranged, let me take the opportunity to say “Wow!” And thank you for the opportunity to visualize the Civil War in such a comprehensive view, even if only briefly in a museum in Springfield, Illinois.

Hope all is well, I had Steve on our staff help draft this, keep wanting to give you updates, nice to tell you people love the Exhibits, not enough time in a day though. So made the time today…
